Description

Lovely original double sided studio acetate of this lovely UK 1960s Merseybeat classic Soul spin by the iconic and recently deceased Gerry Marsden. The acetate is for his 1969 solo release (after the Pacemakers) on NEMS records (the label formed from Brian Epstein's management co.) release of 'Every Little Minute'/'In Days Of Old'. Much rarer than demos that come up more often - as with all acetates a direct cut in studio so probably only 4-5 were made. This is on a CBS acetate as NEMS was set up as a subsidiary of CBS UK records. Note text on label indicates acetate recorded 13 May 1969 and dated as being provided c/o (Dave Williams and Bernie Lee) NEMS on 16 May 1969.   Despite fragility of acetate this is a lovely copy and hardly shows play wear or any significant defects. In EX.condition. Very light evidence of play with some minor scuffs from sleeve removal visible in strong light.Plays excellently and nice clean and loud sound. B side label glue has dried and come away but can be easily pasted back. in original NEMS sleeve of the time which is VG.
Offered at a sensible BIN given the rarity and demand for this record in any condition.
Dispatched in proper record mailer with card  insert by Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for large letter.
