Description
This is the 4th Giant Sand LP - 'The Love Songs'
Released by Demon (FIEND129) in 1988
Track listing
Side A: 1. Wearing the robes of Bible black; 2. One man's woman / No man's land; 3. Mad dog a man;
4. Fingernail moon, Barracuda and me
Side B: 1. Mountain of love; 2. Almost a politician's wife; 3. The Doors; 4. Love like a train; 5. Is that all there is?
This LP has been owned since new and is in beautiful shape (rated Nr MINT). The gloss sleeve shows no marking, creasing or tearing. Colours are fantastic and the corners and spine are tight. A really good sleeve. The vinyl is almost 'as new' - no markings, no jumps or hiss - a lovely bit of black wax. Labels are also perfect. LP comes with a full lyric sheet with extensive liner notes to the rear!
The cover of Lieber / Stoller's 'Is that all there is?' is worth admission alone. The best Giant Sand LP in my opinion
