Estate find.

14 12" 78 RPM records. The Columbia Records catalog number DMC109 belongs to the package containing Volumes 1 & 2 of the Puccini opera "Tosca", which have their own individual catalog numbers: DM539 & DM540.

STILL FACTORY SEALED IN ORIGINAL BROWN PAPER WRAPPER. I've peeled back part of the spine paper to reveal the catalog numbers of the 2 individual album sets contained within.

Performed by Beniamino Gigli, tenor, & others, with Oliviero De Fabritiis conducting the Orchestra ofthe Royal Opera House, Rome.

Old store stock from Hart's Record Shop in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr Hart also was a regional distributor. He closed his operation in 1952 following an auto accident. Hart Callender kept his inventory stored his inventory in his basement until his death in 1996 at age 88. He always planned that he might get back into the record business, but he never did. His huge inventory was sold at auction in 1997.
