Gilberto Gil on Philips 765.087 Mono. "Cerebro Electronica" Cover is in VG+ condition. (very thin import style cover. no seam splits. some minor wear. looks great) Record is in VG++ condition. (very clean. wax has some very minor hairline scuffs only. labels look very clean too. record looks barely played) This is a very rare Psychedelic / Electronica LP released in Brazil in 1969. This is the original first pressing of this LP and it is very rare and hard to find !! I am starting this auction with a very low opening bid and with no reserve !! Good luck and thanks for looking.

GRADING OF RECORDS
NEAR MINT – record is ‘like new” very clean with only possibly the most minor and superficial of marks.
VG++ record has only very minor surface marks and wear and is in excellent condition.
VG+ record shows some surface marks but the record is still in relatively good shape. no feel-able scratches
VG record shows a fair amount of wear. may have feel-able scratches
G record shows excessive wear.

Gilberto Gil (also commonly referred to as Gilberto Gil (Cérebro Eletrônico)[2] to differentiate it from Gil's other self-titled releases) is the third solo album by Gilberto Gil, originally released in 1969. The album was arranged by Rogério Duprat, and has a strong element of psychedelic rock to it,[3] being considered by some to be his most experimental album.[2] Since Gilwas not allowed by the Brazilian military dictatorship to leave Salvador, Bahia, before being exiled to London, he recorded vocals and acoustic guitar in Salvador, and Rogério Duprat recorded the other instruments in Rio de Janeiroand São Paulo.[4]
The album has one of Gilberto Gil's most famous song, "Aquele Abraço".
