Description

Label :  B&C Records / CAS 1031 / 1971

Matrix Numbers :  CAS 1031 A-1U / CAS 1031 B-1U

Notes :  Original first pressing, with E J Day gatefold sleeve with track listing printed on the inside left and opening 'gimmick' panel on the inside right with shaped edge and opening flap, plain white 'Made in Great Britain' inner sleeve.  Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and includes a cover version of The Beatles 'And I Love Her'.

Condition :  Visually the vinyl is EX+ and appears to have had very little use, with just a couple of light sleeve scuffs - I am playing through parts of the record now and there is some audible crackling throughout, I think this is mostly due to static and the dust sitting on the vinyl, and I am almost sure that this record would benefit from some appropriate cleaning which would hopefully improve the sound substantually.

The labels are clean, unworn and unmarked with one very faint spindle mark only just visible.

The gatefold sleeve is rather worn to the front and back, with rubbed corners, edge wear and ring wear, as well as some staining across the top edge front and back.  There is a crease mark down the middle of the front sleeve, the spine is flattened and some of its text obscured with wear.  There is some light foxing and a couple of marks to the opening panel inside, the shaped inside opening edge is in good shape though has two little tears, the opening flap has a couple of creases.  The inner sleeve shows light wear/creasing and has a couple of small stains to its rear.
