Giuseppe PACINI, baritone
Giuseppe Pacini (Baritone) (Firenze, Italy 1862 - Firenze, Italy 1910) He studied with Cortese in Florence and made his debut in 1887 at the Arena Nazionale in Florence in ‘’I due Foscari’’ of Verdi. In 1892 he made guest appearance in Mexico City. In 1895 at La Scala Pacini performed in the premieres of Mascagni’s operas ‘’Guglielmo Ratcliff’’ (16. 2. 1895) and ‘’Silvano’’ (25. 3. 1895). In 1896, 1899 and 1904 he had at La Scala significant success in the French repertoire. He guested also in South America, Mexico City and in the Philippines. In 1903 he sang at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome as a partner of Enrico Caruso in Verdi’s ‘’Aida’’
