From Gould’s early work with Bach, this is the original 2-eye release of his marvelous reads of the “Italian” Concerto, along with Partitas 1 & 2.
Called a “nut” by some, Gould finally tired of the criticism and retired from public performances at the age of 31. Do note, that many luminaries, among them George Szell, stated: “Yes, but that ‘nut’ was a genius!”
Cover of this fine edition is without major fault, just yellowing with age and a set of tiny staple holes where a price sticker was once affixed. Inside, is the 2-eye heavy platter in near-mint shape.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
