Description
This is the first recording made by Glenn Miller under his own name with "the band that failed." Personnel includes legendary trombonist Jack Jenney, trumpet players Bunny Berigan and Charlie Spivak, pianist Claude Thornhill and drummer Ray Baduc, with Johnny Mince and Eddie Miller on reeds plus a string section. The disc is in excellent condition and still sounds good today. It was recorded on Columbia Blue Shellac This disc is part of a large collection of 78s in exceptionally fine condition that I'm selling on eBay. Look for the others.
