I am putting up for auction here my copy of the "God Save the Kinks" promotional box set. I bought it a couple years ago from a woman who's father worked in the record business. She had a lot of cool promotional records and also a lot of cool sealed LPs. All from the late 50s through the early 70s. I've enjoyed having this one in my possession for the last couple years, but I paid too much for it and could really use the cash right now. So here it is.
The "Then, Now & In Between" LP is factory sealed with proper breathe holes. The puzzle baggy is still held shut with the original 1969 staples. YOU could be the first person to assemble this particular puzzle. How cool is that?! Everything else that you see in the photos is included. The sticker, the Union Jack flag, the God Save the Kinks button, the post card, the Village Green grass (still sealed up), and the 2 page letter from Hal in the Warner promotions department. The box is moderately crushed, but I've never seen a mint one. Everything else is in great shape (and of course the LP is SEALED, so I'm quite sure you won't find a nicer one for your collection.
