Up for sale is a Vinyl version of "Felt Mountain" by Goldfrapp.  2000 UK pressing on Mute Records (STUMM

Record Condition:

Side one=VG/Good.  Both sides of album have surface marks and scuffs, some of which cause some background noise.  The first track, "Lovely Head" has prominent crackling during its first 25 seconds, several other brief passages of background noise, and some clicking and noise in its last 25 seconds.  Second track, "Paper Bag", also has background noise and steady clicking during its 25 seconds or so, with a few soft pops at the end.  Third track, "Human", is in similar condition for its first 15 seconds, with a few louder pops.  Also has background noise during the quiet middle section and at the very end.  The last 2 songs play fairly well, but there are brief patches of more subdued background noise and pops.

Side two=VG, plays much better in comparison to side one, but still has brief spots of slight background noise, most notably in a brief spot at the beginning of "Oompa Radar", with some steady clicking appearing a minute or too later and lasting for about 30 seconds during the quiet middle section.  Also there are a few clicks at the beginning of "Utopia" that are fairly prominent. 

Sleeve Condition: A few creases along spine and edges of cover.  Slight wear on top and bottom right corners of front cover.  A few slight dents and wear along opening edges of cover.    

Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, here's ours!

We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System

I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition!

Sealed: Only used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but, since they're sealed, I can't tell the condition for sure! It is good practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint.
Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see.
VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK.
VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.

Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.

All of my records are shipped in protective cardboard record mailers with cardboard backers on each side.

Included with each record is a new plastic sleeve to keep your artwork safe!
