Description

Scarce & much sought after prog rock classic from Gong, UK version released in 1973 on Virgin.

The first of a new batch of listings from a recently acquired collection of eclectic prog/folk/blues albums from the US & UK.

Vinyl: VG+ Shows obvious signs of being handled and played, but surface marks are superficial and vinyl is essentially undamaged. There's surprisingly little spindle-wear, I have play-tested it and it still sounds great, with no scratches or jumps. The label is the plain black and white mirror-image virgin design, not quite as bright as the day it was released, but still clean, flat and unblemished.

Sleeve: VG++ Gatefold sleeve with matt-finish flying teapot design. Some slight edge-wear, but remarkably clean for its 41 years. No splits or creases and all seams intact. Carries catalogue number on reverse top right, & company logo bottom left. Poly-lined inner sleeve.

Great example of this prog classic, in its scarce UK Virgin form. I've seen it advertised at stupid prices, but anyone who has bought from me before will know that I price my stuff to sell, at realistic prices.
