Gonzalez were at the front of the U.K’s funk scene. Indeed they tore it up recently at the Barbican in London where they did a show with Cymande and Hamish Gorrie from A.W.B.

This is their self – titled Lp from 1974.

Wickedly funky & standout track is ‘Funky Frith Street’.
