Good The Bad, and the Ugly Translucent Green RSD 2013 Re-issue LP Morricone.
LAST ONE I WILL PUT ON SALE.....This is the rare original Record Store Day release from 8 years ago with the brilliant translucent light green vinyl.Lots of other colours followed but this is the genuine first issue of the soundtrack in it's now enlarged selection of tracks. Very rare to find this limited edition LP on eBay as it sold out quickly and collectors are hanging onto this colour vinyl. This is my last available mint copy I will have on Auction. I will be forever keeping my own personal copy. The inclusion of a full colour two sided inner sheet displaying the international posters and lobby cards was a nice touch.
Not to be confused with the 2021, 2022 editions in while or blue vinyl. The green looks so cool, and I would describe it as refreshing MINT GREEN
The original United Artists 1968 LP was an outstanding success but personally I was always disappointed with the selections chosen with the quite average running time of the whole record. I always felt that the famous theme should have had at least another reprise in addition to the main title. Other notable music in the film was completely ignored but there was overkill and repetition of the Civil War march themes and the ''Story of a Soldier'' melody . Now with this RSD extended release all has been put to right with 5 additional tracks that perfectly balance the whole record. We now have the album the first one should have been.
The beautiful Padre Ramirez guitar theme, The Rope Bridge, The Mission of San Antonio, End for a Spy, and an extra main theme chase sequence of Tuco tracking down Blondy….Fuga a Cavallo…ah ye ah ye ahhhh !!
The copy l am selling is not that shown in the first 9 photo’s but will be one of several that l bought from Juno who sent them to me with decanted vinyl to protect the sleeves from damage in the post. The LP is unplayed and l am offering it in the jacket that Juno re-wrapped it so please be aware of that if bidding. The last 3 photos show you these copies to demonstrate how you will receive yours should you win the auction. This final copy will be 525481-01 as shown in last photo.
