NOTES & COMMENTS: This is the very first album from the legend in children's music but this is not one of those. His first LP has Ben Mink who played in the band FM notably and also Bill Usher is known to me. This is a folksy country guitar album with many original tunes. Both sides start with original tunes that are about bars and fighting. Played fantastic with no issues and sounded fantastic. Very talented musicianship on this very hard to find album. This is the first record on his own Troubadour label. It has the feel of early Gordon Lightfoot and if you like Harry Chapin or Cat Stevens then this would fit in that genre I think. Surprising album to say the least and I really enjoyed both listens I gave it. The story behind the signature is that the person I bought this from was taught to play guitar by Raffi. The Yonge Street song is interesting as he sings about going to it to "waste more time". Great guitar picking on Impressions of Armenia.
