Back with another bumper crop from a fine old funky harvest from the greatest of the central Asian cities, Tehran! Lock in for this one as we break from our usual Sunday nights and kick off on a Wednesday - what will they think of next?
If you're reading this, then I won't need to remind you about how hard it is to come across Googoosh records at the moment. Where are they? Well, you've found at least one of them right here. This is a real stunner of a record, quite a lounge-y funk vibe but solid grooves through and through. Sort of reminds me of French 60s ye-ye kind of thing? But with Googoosh. So like, way better. Lovely ballad on the flip. Gloriously clean and crisp, cut loud as you like. Yummy.
