Description

MFSL 1-018 – Gordon Lightfoot – Sundown (1974) – This original master audiophile recording was pressed in Japan with the meticulous care which made Mobile Fidelity famous. It has been a favorite of audiophiles since it was released and the sound is spectacular. This copy is almost perfect – I purchased it in the early 80’s and have only played it only twice since then.  The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is perfectly quiet, with NO marks whatsoever. The vinyl looks and plays mint (M).  The labels also look new.  The jacket shows some minor shelf wear– otherwise it is very close to mint, but I will grade it EX due to slight wear (see photos).  In summary, this is an almost perfect copy of this famous folk-rock recording.
