Description

This is a SEALED Classic Records reissue of the RCA Victor “Living Stereo” recording “Gounod, Ballet Music from Faust/Bizet, Carmen Suite,” catalog number LSC-2449, the legendary audiophile classic featuring The Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden with Alexander Gibson, conductor.

I sold another one of these reissues about a month ago and in the process of going through my record collection discovered I also had this one that I had misplaced, and this one is sealed. (Being an inveterate record collector, I have accumulated many doubles, triples and even multiple copies of the same records, sometimes without even realizing it until later. I’m sure some of you can relate!)

This is an older ‘80s or ‘90s pressing (I’m not sure of the exact date), not a current reissue. It comes with the original plastic outer sleeve and has the “With the complements of Classic Records” sticker on it.

I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
