Description

THE GRAHAM BOND ORGANization - The Sound of 65 on Columbia record label.
This is the First Press of the first record of this brilliant band.

The Graham bond Organisation are: Graham Bond, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, Dick Heckstall-Smith.

This album was bought in 1965 in Cheltenham (record shop has been gone for a long time) and since
then only the first two tracks of side one have been played once. Side two has never been played.
The record has been stored in a smoke free house for nearly 40 years! The cover is in excellent
condition with a few small creases (see pictures). The record itself is in Mint/Near Mint condition.

From the back of the cover:

This record marks the break-through of the unique and exciting music of the Graham Bond Organisation.
It will bring wider appreciation for their startling fusion of rhythm and blues and modern jazz, which
until now, only club and concert audiences have experienced.

The extraordinary variety of sound, styles and treatments that Graham's band can attain are brilliantly
showcased in this, their first album, which will surprise new listeners and delight their devoted fans.

I've put a reserve on this LP, but it is very low.
