15 Alternate Takes from the Recordings Sessions for Parsons' 2 Classic Albums GP & Grievous Angel Plus 3 Rare Covers

Audio Sourced from 2005's The Complete Reprise Sessions

180g 2LP-set featuring 15 alternate takes from recordings sessions for Gram Parsons' two classic solo studio albums GP and Grievous Angel plus three rare covers. Tracks 1-7 on LP1 were culled from the 1972 sessions for Parsons debut solo venture GP. Tracks 8-10 on LP1 and 1-5 on LP2 were culled from the 1973 sessions for his second and final album Grievous Angel, released a few months after his death. The final three cuts - "Brand New Heartache," "Sleepless Nights" and "The Angels Rejoiced Last Night" - were originally issued on the 1976 compilation Sleepless Nights and feature Emmylou Harris. Audio sourced from 2005's The Complete Reprise Sessions. Also contains a postcard insert at the request of Gram's daughter, Polly Parsons, for the Hickory Wind Ranch Recovery Community.
