Description

Gram Parsons: “GP”  (Reprise MS 2123)    

First US Pressing with gatefold jacket.

Iconic Byrds member Gram Parson's debut solo LP from 1973.

Emmy Lou Harris sings with Parsons.

This piece includes an original flyer included by Reprise with first pressings used to introduce Parsons as a solo artist.       (See photos)


Vinyl:  NM

    High gloss.  A few surface marks are visible but do not impact sound.  This wax plays like new.  Wonderfully clear, rich sound on this well recorded LP.

    Labels are bright and clean.  No spindle marks.   (See photos)


Jacket:  EX  

     Overall clean look though faint ring wear is apparent at the top of both front and back sides.  Spine seam is is NM condition.  Modest seam wear is apparent on top and bottom seams but no splits.      (See photos)              

Includes original inner sleeve in fine condition except for some seam split.


You will be hard pressed to find a finer copy of this debut Gram Parsons album, a first US pressing complete with original inner sleeve and Reprise flyer introducing their new signed solo artist.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
