Description
Grand Funk Railroad - Grand Funk
(Capitol E-ST 406 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve & comes with its original "Capitol" company paper inner sleeve. This advertises other LP's available at the time. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press matrix numbers. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this very good late 1960's Hard Rock/ Psych LP. This is their 2nd UK LP release. Released in the UK in early 1970.
Sleeve: There is light, mild or moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is a 5 cm area of moderate rubbing wear at the centre of the top edge. This has caused a 3 cm seam split at that area too. There is moderate fading to the spine. There is mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the spine too. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the sleeve opening edges. There is mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. Overall, Very Good minus condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There are two quite long, but quite light, hairline marks on Side 1. These measure 7 cm and 5 cm in length. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in near excellent condition & show mild or very mild spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
