Original UK Capitol green target label stereo 1st press LP!
The fourth LP by Michigan based power trio rockers Grand Funk Railroad, with an extended cover of the Rolling Stones 'Gimme Shelter' and the hit 'Feelin' Alright', with the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices of the very first press!
The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd textured matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/storage wear and a couple of small creases on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings! The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, still a really great, loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; E-SW1-764-1, stamper 1-GM, E-SW2-764-1, stamper 1-GO.
This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1971 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
