Description

Grant Green - Am I Blue (Johnny Coles, Joe Henderson, Grant Green, John Patton, Ben Dixon) - 1963 Blue Note # BLP-4139  *Van Gelder EAR*
**(Side 1 # BNLP-4139 A  /  Side 2 # BNLP-4139 B)***   The EAR etching precedes the matrix number and "Van Gelder" is stamped after the number.
DISC: VG+/VG with a few light faint fine hairs and needle drags on both sides. Some deeper grooves from repeat play. Whoever originally owned this LP didn't ave tracking on there record players. There are deeper grooves closer to spindle on each side. There will be light background noise throughout with some passes louder than others. A few light "pop" clicks but faint. A couple of the hairs are slightly felt to touch but the Micro-Grooves play right past them with minimal noise. There is some noise on the intro wax on both sides. Very clean rare original pressed LP. Please see all pictures of surface flaws, and ask questions before buying this LP. The label has the original NY address. This is the original MONO pressing from 1963.
COVER: VG+ with clean glossy cover art. All seems and spine are intact. Almost no fade or ring wear. The back cover still has glossy whites to it.  There are a few light creases around cover's spines. There is "Dee Smith" written on back cover. This autograph actually belongs to a Denver Broncos lineman from the 1960's. This was his jazz collection I bought at an estate sale. The original inner sleeve is present and has minimal seem splits. Some minor fold creases, but overall in exceptional shape.
