Grant Green – Feelin' The Spirit

LABEL: Blue Note – BLP 4132

FORMAT: Vinyl, LP, Album, Mono, DG Side A, NY Label

NOTE:  Recorded on December 21, 1962.

 

1st original MONO issue has:

·         blue/white Blue Note Records Inc - New York Usa labels, deep groove on side 1 only,

·         Van Gelder and Stereo separately stamped in the dead wax, both sides,

·         P symbol for Plastylite plant (wrongly also called "ear") inscribed in the dead wax, both sides,

·         laminated jacket,

 

SIDE 1 and 2: Very Good Plus (Strong VG) Vinyl is shiny and have hairlines and several scuffs and scratches but nothing deep or fileable with no skips, jumps, repeats,  interference, or distortion. Very light background crackle and sticks minimum on both sides – very occasional. Great tone and clarity from start to finish. the labels are clean.

 

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: Very Good (VG) Some creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, corner bends. All spines are mostly 85% intact. But the artwork is still attractive.  Please see photos.

PLEASE NOTE: Every record we add to the archive or send to our customers extensively cleaned prior to doing so. We endeavor to removes as much dirt as possible from the cover before ultrasonically cleaning the record. Once both these steps are complete, we repackage the restored article in a brand new inner and outer sleeve.
