Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Feelin' the Spirit," by Grant Green, featuring Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren, Billy Higgins, and Garvin Masseaux. See pictures for song list. This was released by Blue Note Records (BLP 4132). LP is VG+, with light scuffs on either side and several small light scratches on side 1. LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and pops - particularly on side 1) with no skips. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. There is a deep groove on side 2 only. Interior labels are very clean. Interior labels have "New York USA" in the address. The address on the back of the jacket reads 43 West 61st St., New York 23. There is an etched ear and "Van Gelder" is stamped in the matrix on either side. Includes original paper inner sleeve. This LP still sounds great - this is a really nice copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. All seams and corners show wear. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. There is a wrinkle in the gloss on the front of the jacket near the top left corner (see pictures). The gloss has started on peel along the lip of the jacket. The front retains a nice gloss. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector.
