Description

Warner Bros. Label 1968 UK release.  Catalog#: WB7186.  Side A: ‘Dark Star’ (short studio version).  Side B: ‘Born Cross-Eyed’ (version w/short feedback sequence at end).  Original paper sleeve discarded (how was I to know I’d be selling it on eBay 46 years later?) and replaced with white card sleeve, on which name of band/track titles hand written.
Condition
Side A, visually, good.  1 long but not deep curved scratch along grooves about a third of the way along playing surface.  Small mark from last few playing grooves, across run-off grooves at right angle to label edge.  Side B, visually, very good.  No scratches or marks.  Record is unwarped and clean of fingermarks/dust on both sides.  Both sides play well, some low level surface noise throughout.  No obvious sound when scratch occurs on side A.
A side of this rare single can be heard as ‘hidden track’ on version of ‘Live Dead’ that appeared in the Rhino box set.
