COVER: VG++ ~Super bright and clean cover has extremely minimal wear. Inside gatefold is Near Mint. All seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits. all corners sharp.VINYL: NM ~Very glossy vinyl is scratch free all 4 sides, with only a very few trace paper scuffs that do not affect play. LPs play MINT; clear and bright with no background noise. Green W7 Warner Bros. labels are pristine with no wear or marks.

Original gatefold "book" INSERT is MINT minus; sharp, crisp and bright with no wrinkles, soil or dings. (The back shows a small strip of tanning at corner of bottom edge.)
VERY hard to find this classic double LP in such clean condition! This is the LP with the first released (side-long) Dark Star and the fabulous Saint Stephen/The Eleven meld and the side-long Turn On Your Lovelight with Pigpen in his most commanding form. Live Dead is a MUST for any true Grateful Dead record collection. Lots of ragged and beat copies out there... a very clean original, like this one doesn't come around often.
