Description

Do you collect audiophile LPs? Or are you a Dead Head from way back? Either way, you’ve found a GREAT LP in the auction!

 

·       “GRATEFUL DEAD FROM THE MARS HOTEL” by The Grateful Dead

·       This is the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) Original Master Recording of this LP.

·       This LP is MFSL 1-172, and it was released in 1984.

·       This is 1 of the only 2 Grateful Dead LPs pressed by MFSL. (The other was “American Beauty” in 1980.)

·       It is AUDIOPHILE VINYL and it is a LIMITED EDITION.

·       The COVER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.  It has that “new LP cover-feel” to it, like an LP that has just come out of the shrink wrap. There is some light wear on the corners at the top and bottom of the spine and a very tiny push on the corner at the bottom of the spine. 

·       The VINYL IS NEAR MINT as an AUDIOPHILE LP SHOULD BE.

·       Also included are:  

The anti-static inner protective sleeve

&

The MFSL folded poster-board vinyl protector that describes the mastering process with specs lists other MFSL vinyl pressings and CD pressings.  

 

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
