GRATEFUL DEAD – WITHOUT A NET
(USA ARISTA AL3-8634– 1990 TRIPLE LP SET)
Hot on the heels of the Dead’s two late 80’s releases ‘In The Dark’ and ‘Built To Last’, this 1990 live triple set was the last hurrah of sorts.
These recordings, performed on tour over a 6 month period (1989/90) were the second last ‘official’ recordings by the Jerry Garcia led group. (1991’s ‘Infrared Roses’ – an album of live instrumental pieces from the aforementioned tour – would be the final release.)
The band themselves are in stellar form and is a fitting exit for this ground breaking and much respected group – the quality of the jams and musical interaction on this set are second to none.
This is a now scarce vinyl release from Arista Records (and a 3 LP set at that!) given the prominence of Compact Discs and Cassettes at the time.

Cover = VG+ (Triple LP gatefold sleeve in tact. Some creasing bottom left hand corner possibly due to tight shrink-wrap initially. Each corner has slightly worn edges due to shrink-wrap/storage. Slight ring wear on back cover due to storage. Spine in tact.)
Record = EX (All three albums have been barely played so no issue here. Original blue inners for all 3 albums)
