Background / History ### This 1972 Australian 3 x LP version was released in a Gatefold Cover!! (Released as a Box-Set everywhere else!) There can't be many of these Ozzie versions left still in existence, as Discogs have never sold one, & only 16 Discogs members in all of Australia own a copy. For what it's worth this is the only one I ever saw in all my 40 years of obsessive collecting!!!!!!!  ###  Allmusic praised Fillmore: The Last Days, saying "When the venerable San Francisco rock and roll mecca the Fillmore West packed it in on the Fourth of July 1971 an era in pop music history had also passed.... The discs feature a who's who of rock music circa 1971, most if not all of whom began their collective journeys in the Bay Area music scene at the time. The Grateful Dead ("Casey Jones" and "Johnny B. Goode"), Quicksilver Messenger Service ("Fresh Air" and "Mojo"), as well as Santana ("Incident at Neshabur" and "In a Silent Way") all make strong showings... Fillmore: The Last Days includes some amazing performances from It's a Beautiful Day ("White Bird") as well as the stunningly powerful "Baby's Calling Me Home" by Boz Scaggs... plus a definitive version of "Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burnin'" from Hot Tuna!!

Condition Report
All 3 x Vinyl LP's are described as Excellent & easily played to that today, below average background, & no skips or stops. A few spindle marks. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to all sides. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Gatefold Cover is described as VG+ to Excellent and I am amazed how well it has held up over 50 years especially considering the additional weight involved... much better than George Harrison's Triple LP released around the same time. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour & paper losses to edges & spine. There are some minor areas of foxing toward the edges. No seam splits. Couple of minor stains here & there. Please see attached photos...
