Description

GRAYSON & WHITTER: I Saw a Man at the Close of Day/I’ve Always Been a Rambler (scroll Victor 40324). Absolutely wonderful recording by G.B. Grayson on fiddle and vocal and Henry Whitter on guitar E+ condition, as lovely a copy as you’ll ever find. Recorded in 1928 in New York (Rambler) and 1929 in Memphis (I Saw a Man).

I’m helping a friend auction off his collection of fine old time, blues and ethnic 78s. There are some wonderful records, so check my other listings and keep checking back. Due to my schedule these listings will be spread over several weeks time.
