PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
graded VG/VG+ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: The black/grey original british pressed Parlophone label with one emi box at bottom and PCS 7097 it's in nice conditions with some spindle marks and some tiny and faded humidity stains, hardly noticeables so VG+.
cover: The laminated flipback cover does have some daded ring wear on the lamination plus some crinckles partially around it and some along the spine.The back does have a partial lamination loss on the right part of flipback for about 1 cm and 3/4 crinkles for each part of the flipback plus a very small writing on the upper right side close the catalogue number.I grade this cover VG but a still very enjoyable VG.
Vinyl: I can't see any mark on the vinyl, just some hairline type marks and a bit more on side two but they do nothing during the plays so if the vinyl do not appear completelly clean don't worry because he plays in the same way of a clean vinyl with just a minimal crackling between some tracks. Anyway for the visual conditions I prefere grade it VG+.
review: Unmissable first album of this hard rock progressive, just the excithing Cliff Bennett's "I Can't Believe" it's enough for to make you happy. The great and powerful voice of Cliff Bennett (Rebel Rousers), the kaleidoscopic electric guitar and organ of Ken Hensley (Gods,Uriah Heep) and the refined rythmic wall of John Konas on Bass and Lee Kerslake (Gods) on drums make of this lp a must for any hard rock progressive collector. The surrealistic cover design of Hipgnosis it's the right box for to include an explosive musical energy with deep roots inside a superior blues humus. Original pressings are hard to find ... don't miss!
