Description

Just Us - Stop Pretending / I'm Not Jealous  (VG++, UK E+). 
I no longer have the capability to play records, so my condition is based upon a visual inspection of the record.

I love this song. I'm glad to see from my sources that the price of the record has risen precipitously, so I have to believe that, finally, other people have gotten into it. I got the record at Ronnie I's Clifton Music in New Jersey when the record came out. He had a box of them that a guy brought into the store. The guy said that the label had some connection to Hiram Johnson, who was the owner of Johnson records with the R&B stuff by The Shells, The Dubs, The Cordovans, Little Nate & The Chryslers, etc. I just noticed Gus Geter, one of the members of The Shells, was the writer and producer of both sides, which gives some credence to what Ronnie I told me. Anyway, I had multiple copies of the record, but gave copies to my collector friends over the years, leaving me with just this copy. Great female lead, male group from 1978.
