Description

Hi there

This is a mint copy of the limited green vinyl Dookie album! This is numbered 945 (in case you can't read that on the sleeve). I've never played this album - I used to just play the 7" of Basket Case all the time and go out to gigs - no time to play albums! I saw Green Day live in (i think) Cambridge and he'd busted his leg and had it in a cast - he was singing sitting on a stool but kept getting excited and bouncing up and down and falling off the stool! This sleeve also has the (gasp!) afterwards banned picture on the back with Ernie (from Sesame Street) in the crowd! You'd think Ernie would be WELL into Green Day...but here you go...

Notes

Limited to 10,000 numbered copies worldwide and pressed on dark green translucent vinyl.
Each copy had a sticker indicating which number release it was, along with the Green Day and Dookie logos.

This release also contains the banned sleeve with Ernie (as a puppet on someone's hand) from Sesame Street on the back, this was banned because Sesame Street threatened to sue Green Day, all further sleeves omitted Ernie.

Track B8 is a hidden track.
