Description
Green Lyte Sunday-- self titled album released in 1970 by RCA on their orange label. Green Lyte Sunday was a great band out of Dayton, Ohio. The leader of the band was the previous keyboard player from the Cyrkle-(remember "Red Rubber Ball"), in the late 1960's. The Green Lyte vocalist Susan Darby had super range and is very pleasant to listen to. Their recording of Joni Mitchell's "Chelsea Morning" ranked nationally and was released as a single. Other songs on the album include some by Laura Nyro. We totally enjoyed to listening to this semi rare-band from Dayton. (See pictures for details). We have cleaned the album using a Spin Clean MK2 record cleaner with distilled water. We play tested both sides of this album in the Iconikrock basement on our Audio Technica ATLP120XUSB turntable. Both sides played through great, no skips, no scratches. A previous owners name is on both sides of the label in black marker. We still rate the vinyl as a VG+ listen and condition. We have placed the vinyl in a new black paper inner sleeve for protection. The gatefold cover has been cleaned and we rate it VG due to a previous owners name on the cover. We will ship the record securely packed in a cardboard record mailer using USPS media mail rates. We have enjoyed this album but we are passing it on now. If you buy it play it as often as possible, enjoy it for what it is and maybe pass it on to another. Thank you for reading our post.
