Description
Up for auction/sale is a beautiful vintage original 1982 UK pressing of the reggae masterpiece 'Night Nurse' by Gregory Isaacs on Island Records.
This has been carefully verified via the runout matrix stamps as a genuine early EMI factory pressing (Matrix: ILPS 9721 : 2U 1 1).
CONDITION GRADING:
💿 VINYL: EXCELLENT (EX)
The vinyl retains a brilliant, factory-fresh mirror gloss. Grooves are incredibly clean with only a couple of faint, superficial cosmetic paper wisps visible under bright light. It plays beautifully with crisp audio, strong dynamics, and minimal to no ambient surface noise. Clear, clean labels with no writing.
📁 SLEEVE: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
The original outer jacket is in great shape. It sits flat with strong, legible spine text. There is only minor, honest vintage shelf wear/softening to the corners and edges from storage. No major creases, no seam splits, and no writing.
An exceptional collector's copy of a foundational roots reggae album.
POSTAGE & PACKAGING:
The record will be securely packed in a professional, stiff cardboard vinyl mailer with cardboard stiffeners. The vinyl will be removed from the outer sleeve prior to shipping to prevent any seam splits during transit.
