 RCA DCS-47. Edvard Grieg. Concerto in A minor, Op. 16. Played by Arthur Rubinstein (piano) and the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alfred Wallenstein. 7" Reel 7.5 IPS for for inline in-line stacked heads.    Factory pre-recorded tape. Reel stored tails out with leader at both ends. No splices.

THIS IS AN ODD ONE.  THERE IS NOISE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TAPE.

It sounds like someone touching a mic with fingers-sort of a thumping sound. I'd say it was the conductor moving around on the podium except it only happens at the beginning. I don't think the sound intrudes on the music but it might be buried in the first couple of tympany notes. Other than that, very nice tape.
