Description
Grieg Peer Gynt Fjeldstad UK WB DECCA SXL 2012 ED1
Superlative sound quality and Performance makes this record a must have for serious collectors.
.The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Oivin Fjeldstad performs the Incidental Music by Grieg for Ibsen’s play, “Peer Gynt”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2012 stampers 2E/2E) the labels have a fatband, ffss logo, original recording by… at 10 o’clock and a groove. Apart from a small scuff, the record is of immaculate appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has some very minor wear – it has an almost new appearance and has cut-out fold overs and a blue FFSS border on the back. The original inner back looks new.
