Mega Rare LP of Johnny Griffin and Eddie Lockjaw Davis - Looking at Monk (Jazzland 39 - mono) Original orange labels with Bill Grauer Productions and deep groove on both sides. One of the best of the tenor battle LPs featuring Griffin and Davis also features Junior Mance and Ben Riley in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make some noise - NOT for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, not too bad for an LP of this vintage. The cover is in near mint condition with the original shrink wrap still intact. There is an original rubber stamp on the back liner, but NO tape, NO splits, NO writing, NO stickers. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at this price?
