Description
This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: John Greer w/ The Four Students / John Greer & His Combo - A Man and A Woman / Blam
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1955
Notes: Green label first pressing. Early single by Greer who worked with many of the popular artists on King and Federal. Many of his first records though were released on Groove including this one. Great up tempo R&B here, the b-side Blam is a real stomper with great sax and guitar.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears/stickers - just some very light ring scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has a vintage company sleeve. Has some wrinkling and a small pencil number. No tears/splits/writing.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
