For Auction: Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction with uncensored Robert Williams cover painting, 1987, 1st Pressing -- Gold Stamped Original Promotional LP with Hype Sticker, 8x10 Promo B/W Glossy Band Photo with two pin holes on upper corners, and 2 new unused G&R Logo Decals/Stickers.

This is the extremely rare first original promo edition featuring semi-translucent black vinyl (see photo showing 2 light spots from LED light held behind record vinyl), only available on some of the stamped promo copies, handed out by Geffen Records for radio and print promotion. Has the Uzi Suicide logo printed on the back cover next to the Geffen logo.

Album shows a few minor scuffs on both sides when held up to light. Plays clean with no noise, pops or skips. I am the original owner, bought "new" from a used record store in 1987. I only played it a couple of times back in 1987 before storing it away. The front and rear covers retain excellent gloss overall, as shown in the multiple photos herein. There is a 3 inch seam split on the bottom center of the inner sleeve.
