FACTORY SEALED Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction with Banned Cover.
In 1987, I worked in a record store in Akron, Ohio, known as Record Theatre. Right after these arrived at the store, we were told to not put them on the floor since a new (non-offensive) cover was forthcoming. They were never put on the floor and never stickered with a price tag. So, I'm the original owner. This beautiful-condition LP has been stored and untouched for over 25 years now - hard to believe.
This is still in the original, factory seal. This has the original sticker naming the signature songs and warning of unsuitable language.
The corners are solid - not smashed or dented. No creases in the cover. The plastic seal is intact all around.
In the interest of full disclosure, and to ensure the description is completely accurate, there are two very small marks, one on the top/back of the cover (see last photo), and one near the bottom right corner of the front cover (see first photo). The seal is entirely intact and unaffected in both spots, so this must have been from the factory. These are so minor, I don't know that it's necessary to mention them, but again, just want to give full disclosure.
You're very unlikely to find one in better shape after 26 years. This is a beautiful, pristine LP. If you have any specific questions, ask away. I will do my very best to answer as soon as I can. Please - ask questions before you buy - I want you to be happy with your purchase!
Thank you for your interest!
