Description

This auction is for the Guns N' Roses "Lies/Live Like A Suicide" LP on 1988 Geffen/Uzi Suicide Label #GHS 24198. US 1st edition pressing:  

  • Barcode (Text): 0 7599-24198-1 9
  • Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side A (Variant 2)): GHS-24198-A-SRI-DMM 1-1 STERLING
  • Matrix / Runout (Etched, Runout Side B (Variant 2)): GHS-24198-B-SRI-DMM
  • 1-1 STERLING

US first edition inner sleeve was censored with a black bar across nude. Original cover reads "Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years" (later replaced by "LIES! LIES! LIES!") on lower left hand side, and right middle reads "Ladies, welcome to the dark ages" in upper/middle right (later replaced by "Elephant gives birth to midget".)

The album is in near mint condition with hardly any noise or marks. Beautiful, pristine...nice, crisp sounding, clean audiophile copy of a rare LP.
The album cover is in very good++ condition with nice gloss and light shelf/ring wear & age staining. No splits, tears or writing. Comes with the original uncensored inner sleeve.  
It's been play tested and sounds great.
