Description
Incredibly scarce mid 1960's document of Houston's folkie scene at the storied Jester! Features many soon to be legends, including Guy Clark's first appearance on vinyl, performing his otherwise nonexistent tune "Cotton Mill Girls." Also appearing herein are Lightnin' Hopkins, Frank Davis, KT Oslin (then just the K as in Kay), and Scott and Vivian Holtzman, the husband and wife behind nearly imminent local psych movers Fever Tree. This is the only time I've actually seen this one! Vinyl is a conservative VG, with a few stray marks and light scratches that cause occasional surface noise that are more evident due to this being live acoustic recordings. Vinyl has high gloss and labels are very clean. Jacket is also VG with ringwear, seamwear, corner wear, mid-spine chipping, and a 2.5" seam split at the top opening as well as a 4" seam split at the bottom opening. Record will be mailed outside Sleeve to prevent further damage. $4 US shipping, $15.50 Canada, $21.50 worldwide.
