HACKAMORE BRICK "ONE KISS LEADS TO ANOTHER" KAMA SUTRA 2025 1970 IN SHRINK
Formed in the late sixties in Brooklyn NYC, this quartet only lasted a short time and were able to release this sole album. Ten originals primarily written by Chick Newman and Tommy Moonlight. They were one of the great missing links of late sixties NYC music scene. Oe of the first bands to cite the Velvet Underground as a source of inspiration. Even C. Newman's flat intonation is evidence of Lou Reed's styel of delivery. The band predates later bands like Television. Interestingly the band reformed in 2008 and put out a new music cd. But here with titles like "Oh, Those Sweet Bananas", "I Watched You Rumba", "Peace Has Come'', ''Got a Girl Named Wilma" and "Zip Gun Woman" their individuality shines...Both in the 60s and new stylings of the 70s this was a talented but totally neglected band. Now heres your chance...
