HAEMORRHOIDS: with friends like these ....who needs enemas?! REKTUM RECORDS 0010 UK 1981 LP, extremely obscure DIY punk 12-track LP by this incredible band (from Carlisle? at least, this is where they recorded the LP*) which is newly discovered (their only single sold recently as well on ebay) - great cover, pure indie quality, offensive lyrics, tracks mostly talk about sex (see title and label name too! - for tracklisting see pic).  Side A' is fantastic: unproduced Sex Pistols, amateur Ramones, dirty Deep Freeze Mice all combined -I'm not kidding- maybe not as talented as the above mentioned bands but some of the tracks could easily fit in their LPs. Side B' is less exciting as the sound is more rock n' roll/pub/shuffle although played and sung with a strong punk feeling (remind again of Ramones or Vibrators). Really great LP and easily one of the rarest UK 76-82 punk/DIY releases.

*If anyone has further knowledge on this band or its releases I would appreciate the information.

As usual this time of the year I'm getting rid of stuff I've upgraded, duplicates or anything that I don't need from my purchases during past months - mostly UK 76-82 DIY indie stuff (7"s & fanzines as per my collection, a few LPs too) with my specialty in rare obscurities. Almost all items are one-offs and some appear for first time on ebay. Bookmark my auctions as I will list 100s during the next few months.
