CAT NUMBER............GHS10
FORMAT............ AN ORIGINAL FIRST UK PRESS OF THIS CLASSIC LP.
RESEARCH TELLS ME THAT THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF FOLK LP COLLECTING- A SERIOUS MONSTER RARITY.UNDER THE AEGIS OF .
Pokora 5* vinyl.
The Galley consisted of Paul Bellamy,Graham Thomas,Lynn Bellamy and Frank Singleton.Formed originally as the Grimsby Folk Song Club.
Released on Boston Soundhunters.
Very few were pressed and hardly any survive today !!!
I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL MY SPECIAL RECORDS FROM MY TREASURED COLLECTION !!!!!
THIS WAS HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY FOR MANY A YEAR.
I HAVE PLAYTESTED AGAIN ON A TOP PLAYER AND CAN CONFIRM IT STILL PLAYS WITHOUT SKIP OR JUMP.
(Please note there is some camera flash on the photo's !)
The key features of this lp are summarised below:
Sleeve- Single sleeve. Age wear.creases and ringwear. Grubby in places. Minor tear to the front.
Overall,still respectable for its age.
Inner-The record comes in a paper inner.
Labels- Clean.
Vinyl- Still retain a FULL gloss and sheen to both sides. There are some noticable scratches and marks. It was well played in its day.
PLAYBACK- I am pleased to say it plays without skip or jump. The scratches do cause two or three clicks to one side and a couple of clicks on the other. There is crackle in places with lesser ticks.
Far from perfect but it does play though and actually is very enjoyable.
An original vinyl lp that is IMPOSSIBLE to find today. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER.
