Items in this lot are:

Special note to foreign bidders: I declare foreign shipments as merchandise with the value you bid for them. Shipment to foreign buyers is via priority mail international with insurance for the value bid. Please e-mail for shipping costs before bidding as this method costs more, but is insurable and trackable. Example: United Kingdom 1-2 pounds $47.45 + $2.10 box/tape/pack = $49.55.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Alternatively, if the ending winning bid is less than $50 and if you have perfect feedback and want this shipped first class international, it could be shipped that method with the understanding there is NO REFUND FOR ANY REASON since the item cannot be tracked online or insured. Example: United Kingdom 1 pound 13 oz.: $24.15 + $2.10 = $26.25.

Feedback/bidding policy: I check feedback daily and will return feedback promptly. Although I go to great lengths to accurately describe my items, if you feel the merchandise is not as described, e-mail me BEFORE leaving feedback and we will resolve it. Please note I do allow returns (see return policy below).

Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Haizea. I've seen this disc described as: "MONSTER FOLK PROGRESSIVE BASQUE FEMALE VOCAL PSYCH ACID"

Musicians on this LP:

  1. Xabier Lasa: Kitarra elektriko eta akustikoa, adarrak, alboka
  2. C. Busto: Bateria, perkusioa, xilofoia, kongas
  3. Xabier Iriondo: Flauta, kitarra akustikoa eta portugesa
  4. Gabriel Barrena: Kontrabaxoa eta baxo elektrikoa
  5. Amaia: Ahotsa
  6. Laguntzaileak: Pello: ahotsa; Borja Lertxundi: bibolina
Several unique things about this item: Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with ONLY ONE very light imperfection + one sleeve mark grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average better than half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. I also took the time to play thru the light imperfection, it did not sound and the record sounded MINT during that portion.

If you want an audio grade of an entire record before bidding, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction. Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

If an audio grade is given, you can assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below.

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no past/present sales on e-bay. COPIES OF THIS DISC HAVE REGULARLY SOLD IN THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS AND, ON ONE OCCASION, FOR MORE THAN $2000.00!

So this is your chance to own a unique item at a reasonable price. Bid early and often so you don't miss out on this auction!

It is further described below, please take the time to read before bidding.

Please e-mail if questions.

Be sure to check my other listings to save postage on multiple winning bids. Please explore the "me" link next to feedback rating) to check out my store and some of the 15,000+ records I have for sale as well as the LP to CD transfer service I offer.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: Haizea Title: Hontz Gaua Record: Black vinyl with the original shine with ONE very light imperfection which did NOT sound when played thru + one sleeve mark grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Black with silver print. No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, one spindle mark. Some of the print on side 1 label: "XOXOA Ref. X-11.105 ALDE-1 33 P.R.M. Deposito Legal BI - 805 -1.979 .. Musika Eta Moldakuntzak: Haizea" Trailing wax: Side 1: "X-11105 A". Side 2: "X-11105 B". Inner sleeves: A generic, white sleeve in fine shape, some folds. There is a sticker on the sleeve that says: "Bilintx Fermin Calbeton, 30 Esterlines, 10 Tel. 420930 - 420224 DONOSTIA -3" Cover: This is a gatefold cover (It opens up). Corners slightly worn, a few creased tips. Top back seam is unglued. Slight general/ring wear. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers. Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent); If one glues the back top seam, then VG+(excellent). The print on the back lower corner shows, in part, "XOXOA DISK AK, Gral.Davila,12 BILBAO Ref. X-11.105 Deposito Legal BI-805-1.979 Argitaratzaile, AUTAPEN, S.A. Comments: Based on short test, past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average better than half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. If an audio grade is provided (Please request well in advance of the end of auction), you can assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below. An excellent addition to your LP collection. Side 1: Comments: Anderea Audio grade provided upon request Egunaren Hastapena Audio grade provided upon request Argizagi Ederra Audio grade provided upon request Arnaki Audio grade provided upon request Side 2: Comments: Hontz Gaua Audio grade provided upon request

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

  • NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
  • 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
  • 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
  • VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
  • VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
  • G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship LPs in 13x13x2 standard record mailers. Weight with box is 1 pound 2 oz. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.20 box = $4.42.

Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 15 oz. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $4.92.

This auction is currently sent to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know BEFORE paying and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
