HAL SINGER – BLUE STOMPIN’ – PRESTIGE SWINGSVILLE 2023 – M-/M- - MONO
Recorded at Van Gelder’s studio on February 20, 1959, this session geatures Hal Singer on tenor, Charlie Shavers on trumpet, Ray Bryant on piano, Wendell Marshall on bass and Osie Johnson on drums. SIDE A: BLUE STOMPIN’; WENDY and WITH A SONG IN MY HEART. SIDE B: MIDNIGHT; FANCY PANTS and THE BLAST OFF. The initials “RVG” are stamped in the blank vinyl on both sides of the LP. This is a MONO recording.
I have graded the vinyl and the record jacket as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl is completely clean on both sides. There is no wear in or around the spindle hole. The vinyl still retains its original luster. The record jacket is in near mint condition, with no sign of wear. The lamination is completely intact on the cover. There is no sign of discoloration on the liner notes. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
