Diese Aufnahme gilt als ein Meisterwerk des Jazz, aufgenommen 1975. Mit prominenter Begleitung in Form von Chet Baker an der Trompete und Paul Desmond am Saxophon, spielt der bedeutende Modern-Jazz-Gitarrist Jim Hall Standards sowie Eigenkompositionen. Ein Highlight auf “Concierto” bildet sicherlich Halls Interpretation eines von Don Sebesky arrangierten Satzes aus Rodrigos "Gitarrenkonzert".
